Cork based business Irish Dog Designs is helping keep the winter chill at bay for dogs across Ireland. Their handmade Aran knit sweaters and hats for dogs are causing a storm on social media.
Irish Dog Designs is owned by the Irish knitwear designer Ursula McGrath. Ursula grew up with her 9 siblings on a remote farm in County Cork, Ireland. On her website Ursula says she remembers her mother always had a pair of knitting needles close at hand.
These handmade sweaters and hats are perfect for any weather sensitive pooches. Perfect for chilly walks along the beach. The Monkstown based business hasn’t just been building a fanbase with dogs in Ireland though. They were also set to be proudly featured in New York’s annual St Patrick’s Day Parade- postponed due to Covid-19.
